24263 (2026). Dan Rosewarne to the Minister of Transport: In relation to reply 13927 (2026), what was the total amount of funding sought by applicants whose Community Road Safety Funding (CRSF) applications were declined, if any; in the past 12 months?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that NZTA received 138 applications, requesting a combined total of over $90 million in funding. The 2025 allocation round has seen $17M (over three years) granted to 22 applicants - pending completion of grant agreements. NZTA will publish successful grants after agreements are complete.
