24253 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 19 May 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when is any such consultation expected to close?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that in the week beginning 19 May 2025, the Ministry of Transport began consultation with employees in the Corporate Services Group and wider Ministry of Transport. The consultation period is expected to close on 3 June 2025. I am advised by NZTA that no consultations are underway.
