24252 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: What is the total appropriation in the Māori Housing Renewable Energy fund since establishment including forecast years, broken down by capital vs operating expenditure and year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the Māori Housing Renewable Energy Fund had a total appropriation of $28 million split between MBIE and Kainga Ora. For the Māori Housing aspect of the fund: 2020/2021 – $1.111m (CAPEX) 2021/2022 - $2.696 (CAPEX) 2022/2023 - $6.941m (CAPEX) 2023/2024 - $3.114m (CAPEX) The average operational expenditure since inception is $148,000.
