24222 (2025). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: How much new electricity generation has been committed to in 2025, if any, as a result of the government's commitment to "removing the barriers for more investment in new generation"?

Hon Simon Watts: I am not responsible for the commitments made by electricity generators. The Electricity Authority estimates that 330MW of generation capacity reached a final investment decision in Q1 2025.
