24198 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Further to Oral Question no7 on May 15th What evidence, if at all, does the Minister or any member of his office have that demonstrates that bottom trawling techniques in New Zealand differ from other nations by title and date?

Hon Shane Jones: I am advised that bottom trawl techniques vary between nations depending on the fish species being targeted, characteristics of the seafloor, and the vessels used.
