Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 19 May 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Chris Penk: I have been advised that Land Information New Zealand started consultation on a small-scale proposed change within one business function. Consultation will close on Friday, 6 June 2025. The proposals include changes in reporting lines and role titles, establishing 7 new roles and disestablishing 18 existing roles, of which 5 are currently vacant. This is a proposed net reduction of 11 roles.
