24077 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Of any proposed redundancies to their responsible agencies to meet a public sector saving initiative, if any, how many indirectly interact with customers, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: Consultation on a proposed new structure for the Ministry for the Environment began on 5 June 2024. During the consultation, all employees will be invited to provide feedback on the proposed structure. The Ministry is unable to confirm whether there will be any redundancies prior to the conclusion of the consultation process and the implementation of the new structure.
