Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Regulation: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified, resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, what percentage of employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles, as well as vacancies that will not be filled, if any, are located in the Otago Region, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministry for Regulation was established on 1 March 2024, and has therefore not been directed to reduce expenditure or proposed any redundancies.
