24053 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the commitment to designing a future-focused service model, for the Needle Exchange Programme, include involving needle-use addiction lived experience on the frontline; if not, why not?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand remains committed to a needle exchange programme that ensures that people with needle-use addiction lived experience are involved with the delivery of needle exchange and/or harm reduction services.
