23939 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Why are charter schools exempt from banning phones in schools, implementing structured literacy, and one hour of literacy and numeracy a day requirements, when state schools are not?

Hon Erica Stanford: Charter schools are being re-introduced to deliver additional innovation into the education system. They will be measured on outcomes and may choose to do some or all of these things.
