23911 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many vetting requests, if any, have Police recieved from Australian police jurisdictions for constabulary staff between February 2025 to date, broken down by the number of constabulary staff, if any, who have since resigned after having a vetting check?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that between 1 February 2025 and 20 May 2025, Police received 86 vetting requests from Australian Police jurisdictions. Please note that multiple jurisdictions may request checks for the same constable, so the total number of requests is higher than the number of constables who have been the subject of requests. During this period, three constables resigned following the receipt of a vetting request from an Australian Police jurisdiction. One of these constables was the subject of requests from more than one jurisdiction.
