23859 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: Further to Reply 20725, are the places full-time equivalent, or does this include part-time students or those not doing a full medical course?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised the additional medical school places, which are funded under our Government as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, are Equivalent Full time Student for the medical undergraduate year 1 intake.
