23825 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: What advice, if any, has the Minister (including his office, or officials who act for, or brief, the Minister) received about any employment issues at I Am Hope since April 1st, 2023?

Hon Matt Doocey: Since becoming Minister for Mental Health on 27 November 2023, I have received a range of advice from a variety of sources regarding Gumboot Friday. The Board of the I Am Hope Foundation is responsible for any employment arrangements it has entered into. The Ministry of Health has a contract for service with Gumboot Friday. I receive regular reports on provider progress. I have received no advice on employment matters, or settlement payments, if any, made to former employees of I Am Hope.
