23795 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 December 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised the Ministry of Health did not have any graduate positions as at 1 December 2024 and as at 1 May 2025. I am further advised that Health New Zealand had 2670 graduate positions as at 1 December 2024 and 2104 graduate positions as at 1 May 2025 to support our Government's focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare.
