23723 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 May 2025?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: As of 1 May 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade had 31 staff in entry level positions as foreign policy officers. The Ministry does not have specific graduate positions but annually recruits entry level staff based on overall workforce needs. In 2025 the size of the intake was 10 staff.
