Hon Erica Stanford: A survivor of the Lake Alice Unit who also received a payment from the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and/or the Crown Health Financing Agency through agencies’ alternative dispute resolution processes for other abuse in care can register for a top-up for that closed claim. Further information is available at https://www.abuseincaretopups.govt.nz/ Survivors may also be eligible for redress for torture at the Lake Alice Unit and/or reimbursement of their legal fees.
