Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Justice: Was every submission in the select committee process made on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill read in full by a ministry official who was a human or read in full by a contractor who was a human prior to the departmental report being provided to the committee; if not how many were read in full and how were other submissions considered?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that every submission on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill was read by a Ministry official or contractor for the purpose of triaging submissions prior to the departmental report being provided to the Justice Committee.
