23383 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What advice, if any, has the Minister received regarding methamphetamine at New Zealand's border, listed by title and date?

Hon Casey Costello: As Minister of Customs, I have received a range of advice regarding illicit drug commodities at New Zealand’s border, some of which is about methamphetamine or mention methamphetamine. I do not believe it is in the public interest or consider it to be a good use of officials’ time to provide a list of advice I have received that is about or mentions methamphetamine. The Member may wish to refer to the list of titles of advice provided to me in 2025 by the New Zealand Customs Service, which is proactively released on a monthly basis and can be found at: https://www.customs.govt.nz/about-us/information-releases/reports-to-the-minister-of-customs/.
