23370 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Space: What safeguards, if any, are in place to prevent over-reliance on US military contracts?

Hon Judith Collins: All space activities conducted from New Zealand or by New Zealand entities overseas are subject to the Outer Space and High-altitude Activities Act 2017. Subject to complying with all applicable laws, the government supports the freedom of our companies to secure commercial contracts with overseas customers.
