23365 (2024). Hūhana Lyndon to the Associate Minister of Health: How many Smokefree Enforcement Officers are there in New Zealand, by region as of 29 May 2024?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that as at 7 June 2024, Health New Zealand has 3 dedicated Smokefree Enforcement Officers. A further 40 Enforcement Officers deliver tobacco and vaping compliance activity along with other Public Health responsibilities. I refer the member to the attached Table 23365 (2024).
