Hon Judith Collins: As Minister for the Public Service, I did not seek any feedback from rainbow organisations or groups on the removal of questions regarding 'sexual orientation, and trans or intersex identities, and whether people were referred to using their preferred pronouns' and replacement with a 'single yes-or-no question about whether people identified as LGBTQUIA+' in the public service census. The Public Service Commission was responsible for all aspects of the survey design, including consultation with stakeholders.
