23325 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: In relation to Reply 20727 (2025), what is the breakdown of the outcomes of these 265 applications for a review of decision regarding emergency housing decisions?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) is unable to provide the information sought by the member within a written parliamentary question timeframe as it would take substantial effort and require the Ministry to divert personnel from their core duties. Therefore, in accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s question, within this timeframe is not in the public interest.
