23312 (2025). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Women: Does she stand by her statement “The initial conversation I had with the Minister of Finance regarding pay equity occurred on 9 November 2024”, if so, what were the action points for her and her office following that conversation, if any?

Hon Nicola Grigg: Yes I stand by my statement. I had a phone call with the Minister of Finance on 9 November 2024, who informed me that Ministers were interested in looking at pay equity settings, and that I was to be included, and invited me to attend the Cabinet Strategy Meeting on 3 December 2024 where the Equal Pay Amendment Bill originated from.
