Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: Did the Minister speak to the Minister of Immigration regarding her statement that when she receives emails "from people in India asking for immigration advice, which I never respond to. I almost regard those as being akin to spam"; if not, why not?

Hon Mark Mitchell: No. As she has made clear herself, Minister Stanford has no ministerial responsibility for providing non-citizens with immigration advice.
