23295 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Immigration: Does the Minister stand by her statement that receiving emails "from people in India asking for immigration advice, which I never respond to. I almost regard those as being akin to spam"?

Hon Erica Stanford: The member has deliberately taken my statement out of context. I stand by my statement in the context in which it was made which was regarding unsolicited emails seeking immigration advice to sent to my personal email address. I have no ministerial responsibility to provide personal immigration advice to people overseas.
