23268 (2025). Rachel Boyack to the Minister of Health: Has any enabling works or preliminary site work been undertaken as part of the Nelson Hospital redevelopment project, and if so, on what dates did that work begin?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that preliminary work to prepare the site commenced in January 2025 as part of our Government's focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders - including the people of Nelson - have access to timely, quality healthcare.
