Hon Dr Shane Reti: I receive regular proactive updates from Stats NZ on Cabinet paper consultations in the Stats NZ Weekly Report. I received advice on the implications of the Regulatory Standards Bill for Stats NZ in the Stats NZ Weekly Report on 19 March 2025. Stats NZ is only responsible for one Act (the Data and Statistics Act 2022) with no associated regulations.
