Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January – March 2024 in implementing the goal ‘Develop a framework for early intervention for working with people who have high and complex needs to reintegrate into the community.' as part of the Disability Action Plan?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that this is a short term action in Corrections’ Disability Action Plan. I am further advised that Corrections is currently developing a Social Worker Disability and Older Persons operating model. An early intervention framework for people with complex and interconnected needs will likely be a core focus of this model.
