Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January–March 2024 in implementing the goal ‘Link with existing regional tāngata whaikaha Māori/disabled people advisory groups to support disabled people in prison', as part of the Disability Action Plan?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that this is a short term action in Corrections’ Disability Action Plan. I am advised that this action will be progressed as soon as possible with a focus around greater integration of care and developing connections with Corrections’ newly established Social Worker Disability and Older Persons roles.
