Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January–March 2024 in implementing the goal ‘Maintain physical health of older people through activities that reduce the risk of falls in older people', as part of the Ageing Well Action Plan?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that this part of an immediate action in Corrections’ Ageing Well Action Plan, which is complete. I am advised that an updated Falls Risk assessment and support plan has been developed as part of the Ageing Well assessment process. It has been developed specifically for the prison environment with environment compatible interventions to reduce falls risk.
