Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister for Trade: What reports, briefings, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice, if any, has he received regarding the possibility of the Fast Track Bill breaching New Zealand's Free Trade Agreements with the UK and EU, listed by agency, title and date received?

Hon Todd McClay: In addition to the advice received on 22 March 2024 (referred to in my response to WPQ 4781), I received further legal advice on the Fast Track Approvals Bill from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on 17 April 2024, 29 April and 15 May 2024. The title and the contents of the legal advice are subject to legal professional privilege.
