22862 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister for Trade: How, if at all, does he intend to ensure that the Fast Track Approvals Bill complies with New Zealand's International Obligations?

Hon Todd McClay: New Zealand takes its international obligations extremely seriously. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade regularly advises me on how domestic laws and policies comply with New Zealand’s international obligations - as has been the case with the Fast Track Approvals Bill.
