22861 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What is the current corrections officer to prisoner ratio within the prison network, by gender?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that, as at 30 April 2025, the total Corrections Officer to prisoner ratio across all women’s prisons was 1:1.8 and at all men’s prison’s was 1:2.3.
