22854 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the average response time for an on-call doctor to physically arrive at Kaitāia Hospital when required after hours?

Hon Simeon Brown: As part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, I am advised that on-call doctors for Kaitaia Hospital are required to be able to return to the clinical environment within 15 minutes. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 22853 (2025).
