Camilla Belich to the Attorney-General: Was the Public Service Commissioner consulted on the role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026 for votes the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what advice did the Commissioner provide, if anything, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Chris Bishop: I understand that the Public Service Commissioner was aware of the FTE reductions proposed as part of Budget announcements
