22820 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, is the Minister taking to address reports that children in Taranaki are waiting up to two years for dental care, despite being entitled to free services under the public health system?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that a number of actions are underway as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, such as prioritising children with complex medical conditions and those experiencing pain or infection, and focusing on attracting staff to the region.
