22818 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many Māori, if any, have had their benefit reduced to a "hospital rate" for being hospitalised for more than 13 weeks since 1 January 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: I refer the member to the attached table which provides the number of clients receiving a reduced rate of benefit due to being in hospital for over 13 weeks, as at the end of each month from 1 January 2025 to 30 April 2025, by month ending and total response ethnicity.
