Camilla Belich to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: On what date, if at all, did the Minister first receive advice regarding the role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026 for votes the Minister is responsible for, if any, and from whom, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: No advice has been provided by The Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana—Te Tari Whakatau on role reduction/disestablishments, restructures, redeployments, or support for staff (including outplacement, retraining, or mental health services) as part of savings made in Budget 2026, nor have any decisions been made.
