22654 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 12 May with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that no such consultations were opened with employees at the Ministry of Transport in the week beginning 12 May. NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) will commence a consultation with the Commercial and Corporate business group's Investment and Finance team on 16 May 2025. The proposed changes could impact up to 121 roles at this stage.
