Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Hunting and Fishing: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 12 May with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Hon James Meager: I am advised that staffing and employment matters are a responsibility of the boards of entities in the Hunting and Fishing portfolio. I refer the Member to the Minister of Conservation’s response to WPQ 22292 (2025) as the Minister responsible for the Department of Conservation.
