Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: Was the Public Service Commissioner consulted on the role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026 for votes the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what advice did the Commissioner provide, if anything, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Chris Bishop: As Minister of Housing, I did not consult the Public Service Commissioner about role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026. Decisions have not been made on how savings associated with Budget 2026 will be implemented.
