Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 12 May with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that DPMC anticipates providing the Change Proposal document to DPMC staff regarding the DPMC of the Future programme in the week commencing 12 May 2025.
