Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Environment: What, if anything, is the forecast contractor and consultant spend in each of the next four financial years as a consequence of savings made in Budget 2026 for votes the Minister is responsible for, if any, by category of spend, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Nicola Grigg: No decisions have been made about implementation of savings targets through Budget 2026. A similar question is regularly included in the Supplementary Estimates Questionnaire for the forthcoming Estimates Examination for Vote Environment. The Environment Committee is expected to publish the responses to that Questionnaire in June 2026. I refer the Member to those responses once published.
