Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters, including from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I have received briefings on the topic of pay equity from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, however I am not releasing the titles or content of these briefings. I am advised that the other business units of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet have not conducted any analysis on the social and economic effects of not settling pay equity claims.
