Hon Nicola Grigg: The recent changes made by Parliament to the Equal Pay Act do not halt claims. Pay Equity claims can still be raised in a manner that is more robust, more sustainable, and more workable to address sex-based discrimination in the workplace. I was involved in conversations about this legislations, including policy discussions, and consultation on the Cabinet paper where advice was provided by officials.
