Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: Did Treasury, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, or the Public Service Commission advise against any element of the role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026 for votes the Minister is responsible for, if any, if so, will the Minister release that advice, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Chris Bishop: As Minister of Housing, I did not receive any advice from The Treasury, Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, or the Public Service Commission about role reductions being made as part of savings made in Budget 2026 Decisions have not been made on how savings associated with Budget 2026 will be implemented.
