22217 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What advice, if any, did the Minister receive prior to the introduction of legislation that would halt pay equity claims about halting the Librarian and Librarian Assistant in Councils claims listed by date and title?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I refer the member to my answer to written question 22257 (2025). I note the Government's pay equity changes were designed to improve the overall process for raising and resolving pay equity claims, and were not in response to any specific claim.
