Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What communications, if any, did the Minister, her office, or officials have with any employer parties or their representatives to current pay equity claims, regarding pay equity changes announced on 6 May 2025 by employer and date?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Neither I or my office communicated with any employer parties or their representatives regarding the announced pay equity changes. Officials consulted other officials in the public service in the development of the pay equity changes (see paragraph 94 in the Reviewing Policy Settings Cabinet paper), including some in their capacity as employers.
