22187 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What advice, if any, did the Minister seek prior to introducing legislation that would halt all current pay equity claims?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) was commissioned to provide various pieces of advice which informed the decisions relating to the introduction of the Equal Pay Amendment Bill 2025, and I refer the Member to my answer to written question 22186 (2025).
