22150 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister of Conservation: When, if ever, did he ask officials to start work on the Wildlife (Authorisations) Amendment Bill?

Hon Tama Potaka: My officials provided me with advice on options to address the immediate issues that was raised by the Mt Messenger case on 14 March. On 17 March 2025, I directed officials to proceed with work on potential legislative changes.
